When Chiara and Les started planning their wedding in February 2020, they had no idea that a global pandemic would affect their plans so significantly. They originally planned to have a large wedding with guests flying in from overseas, but the restrictions caused by COVID-19 led them to change their plans.
Despite the setbacks, they were determined to have a special day to remember. With the help of Franky, our lead photographer, they decided on a beautiful sunrise elopement at Long Reef. The location was perfect for the intimate and romantic ceremony they had envisioned.
While it took a lot of effort to have a sunrise shoot, the end result was worth it. As they read their vows with the sun rising behind them, it was the most romantic moment imaginable. They spent the rest of the day enjoying the coastal beauty and having lunch at Shelly Beach.
Chiara and Les enjoyed the day that was all about the two of them, and their private beachside wedding was perfect in every way. It was a reminder that sometimes the most intimate moments are the most special. As a multi award-winning Sydney wedding photographer, we understand the importance of capturing these once-in-a-lifetime moments, no matter how big or small the wedding may be.
